Are you 18-30 years old? Involved in youth work and youth-related activities or active in alternative/ sustainable food and agricultural initiatives?

If yes, then JOIN our International Summer School ‘Creating a Sustainable Alternative to the current global food system’ in Yspertal - Austria, between June 26th and July 2nd 2016.

The Summer School will bring together 30 young people from Europe and the Global South to enhance their understanding of the global food system and its interconnectedness, exchange learning practices and develop potential future collaborations.

The programme includes interactive workshop sessions exploring the key concepts of Global Education within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, sessions with invited guest speakers on food security and food sovereignty, as well as visits to local farms or other sustainable agricultural projects. The summer school will also offer the space for participants to share their own experiences and learning, to develop new links between those active in global learning settings and those involved in sustainable agricultural projects, as well as provide sufficient space for participants to develop their own plans for future actions.
