It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2nd annual STREET FESTIVAL organised by the Future Worlds Center in celebration of the World Refugee Day. The festival is co-organised with the Representation in Cyprus of the UN Refugee Agency, and is held in collaboration with Cypriot organizations and refugee communities. This year’s festival will take place onWednesday the 17th of June, at Faneromeni Square in Old Nicosia, between 18:00-22:00.

This year’s celebration will include:

• Art & craft exhibition by Cypriot & refugee communities
• Traditional food prepared by refugee communities living in Cyprus
• Kids’ corner to entertain young people
• Information stands by participating organisations
• World Music played by Claudio

This Street Festival is organised to celebrate the rich culture brought by refugees to every host society, to raise awareness on refugee issues, and to strengthen the solidarity between the Cypriot and refugee communities. For more information, please find attached the Festival’s flyer.
