Child Festival

On the occasion of Children's Day which is celebrated annually on June 1, the Cyprus Neuroscience & Technology Institute represented the Cyprus Safer Internet Center 'CyberEthics' at the Child's Festival held in Paphos (28/5), Larnaca (29/5), Nicosia (4/6) and Paralimni (4/6) in order to inform the children about issues concerning their safe online activity.

Street Festival for World Refugee Day

For the 3rd consecutive year, Future Worlds Center and the UNHCR Representation in Cyprus are organising a STREET FESTIVAL in celebration of the World Refugee Day. The Festival takes place in order to honour refugees’ contribution to the host society, to raise awareness on refugee issues, and to strengthen solidarity between the Cypriot and the refugee communities.

Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era – From Europe to Africa

On week of 8-14thth of May 2016, the Cyprus-based non-profit organization, Future Worlds Center, has traveled to Kenya for a week-long structured dialogue co-laboratory for the global initiative “Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era” is which is funded by the “United Nations Democracy Fund”.
