During the two-day Training Meeting organized in Larnaca on April 20-21, 2016 by the Network of Safer Internet Centres Insafe, twenty members of the Network visited Aradippou Lyceum “Tasos Mitsopoulos” in order to get informed about the actions implemented at the school as a part of the “Young Coaches Campaign”.

Insafe Training Meeting in Cyprus
The Insafe Network of Safer Internet Centres organized a successful training meeting in Larnaca, Cyprus on April 20-21, 2016. With the participation of more than 130 participants from the Safer Internet Centres across Europe, including the Cyprus Safer Internet Center ‘CyberEthics’, the training which is held on a biannual base focused on the impact of technology, internet as well as online games on the health and wellbeing of children and young people.

“Bittersweet Chocolate: The Truth Behind the International Chocolate Industry”
Chocolate Bunnies and storebrand chocolates, available in Cypriot super markets were tested in regards to their social and ecological quality by Future Worlds Center in the Chocolate Check 2016, which is based on independent certified systems - Fairtrade, UTZ, Rainforest Alliance και το ΕU-Organic-Label. Half of the chocolates tested came up as red, in both levels (ecological and social), due to the wide spread social and environmental exploitation in the conventional cocoa supply chain.

Are you 18-30 years old? Involved in youth work and youth-related activities or active in alternative/ sustainable food and agricultural initiatives?
If yes, then JOIN our International Summer School ‘Creating a Sustainable Alternative to the current global food system’ in Yspertal - Austria, between June 26th and July 2nd 2016.
The Summer School will bring together 30 young people from Europe and the Global South to enhance their understanding of the global food system and its interconnectedness, exchange learning practices and develop potential future collaborations.
